Question for the American Electorate

Is it not time to separate the President of the USA and the leader of your country.
I propose, As the most powerful man in the world the President should be voted on by all ALLIED citizens, and he should deal only with international affairs with a huge international budget.
The running of your country to be totally seperate and voted on by US citizens dealing only with internal affairs.
The job is now too big for one man.
